Ids is partner of LogiXperience.
LogiXperience aims to be a permanent meeting place where supply and demand for applied knowledge, solutions and services with focus on Logistics and Supply Chain impartially and challenging, inspiring way to be brought together.
Ids believes clearly in this mission as well as in the concept to collaborate with other supply chain suppliers in offering a total solutions to shippers.
The focus is particularly on the following three areas:
- Supply chain management: Management of integrated logistics chains. Think of supply chain design, sales and operation planning, inventory management, etc.
- Modes of transport: Road transport, water, rail and air. This concerns issues such as multimodal transport, container handling, CO2 footprints, etc.
- Warehousing & production: The nodes in chains. This involves the storage and handling, picking, value-added logistics, etc.
The design of the building is not yet concrete, but it is clear that the building will be 5000 sqm and 12 meters high. LogiXperience will open its doors end of 2012 or beginning of 2013.
