A worldwide leader in the Resins Chemical Industry, with manufacturing facilities in amongst others  The Netherlands, Germany and Spain, needed to optimize the overall transport costs and to reduce the number of  carriers whilst improving the high level of safety standards for ADR/Keep From Freezing (KFF) shipments across Europe.

The Challenge
With complex lines of communications and non transparent overview on its shipments, carriers and price structures, the customer needed a single solution to improve and to simplify its supply chain.

The Solution: IDS as European Network Solution
IDS was appointed as the single point of contact for four sites in The Netherlands, Germany and Spain. The country/product specialists carriers of IDS were selected for the ADR and ADR/KFF shipments from these sites. This also resulted in transparent price structures, savings by consolidation and intercompany line haul costs, a single web portal for performance measurements and periodic management information reports and high safety standards on these sites.
