About IDS

IDS has more than two decades of experience in the transport sector. Our goal is to find the very best transport solutions for our customers. We do not own our own trucks or warehouses and can therefore operate independently, always seeking solutions that best meet the logistics needs of our customers.

We work with a large base of professional, qualified carriers that provide the right quality at the right cost level for our customers. We know which transport companies are efficient and deliver quality. We know who specialises in certain regions of Europe. And we also know which operators are the best for road, water, railway or air transport. In many cases, however, IDS has agreed with the customer to act as a control tower that manages the customer's existing carrier-base in order to reduce risk of change.

Based in Woerden, the Netherlands, IDS serves medium-sized and large companies, helping them attain a competitive advantage through improved transportation efficiency, lower distribution costs, improved visibility and the lowest possible transaction costs. Our robust and flexible IT solution, provided by our partner Infodis, helps our clients to remain in control of their supply chains.
