IDS is fully flexible

Fees depend on the scope of services required and serve as compensation for the outsourced freight-management activities. IDS is confident that the fees are competitive due to the high level of automation and the centralised model. The selection of services is fully flexible, and IDS will work with the customer to find the best ‘a la carte’ solution to fit the customer’s needs.

Rate agreements with carriers can be established directly between carrier and customer. This allows the customer to protect its market knowledge or to include its existing carrier base within the IDS freight management model. In many cases IDS and the customer will begin with a collaboration agreement in which IDS manages the customer’s existing carriers. IDS is prepared to discuss a ‘proof of concept’ to lower the threshold for the customer.
