Implementation Services and Project Management

A project manager will be appointed to head up the implementation. The implementation refers to the project planning and execution of logistics solutions, which forms one of the most critical elements in the solution delivery process.  Generally, the implementation will be based on a phased approach to minimize risks, for example per customer plant, per market or per product-line.

Each project is initiated with agreement to project scope, timelines, budgets, team appointments and documentation. If required, the client will inform the existing carriers in writing about the contract handover to IDS.

Critical carriers will be approached individually to minimize risks of service disruption. This initial communication will state that the transition will have no short-term impact to their respective agreements and that a performance management program will be initiated.
