Supply Chain history of more than 20 years

IDS was established more than 20 years ago as a network of 12 mid-sized Dutch logistics service providers. Each partner and equal shareholder was specialised in a certain geographic market. A true European freight exchange platform was established by combining the strengths of each partner.

The same carrier partners invested in Infodis to build the IT platform for IDS customers. Over time, Infodis has developed this system into a web-based solution, which is now available to shippers.

Significant investments in web-enabled communication platforms has led to far-reaching process automation, which makes doing business with IDS easy and efficient.

We at IDS believe that our relatively long history and experience in managing freight logistics involving multiple carriers has allowed to support our customers by providing outsourced freight management.
